Job summary
STG Pacific LLC, a Calista Brice subsidiary, seeks a Vertical Construction Project Estimator for federal and commercial projects. You will identify bidding opportunities, prepare complete cost estimates, and manage preconstruction estimating activities for vertical construction and design/build opportunities.
You will work with Project Managers to align cost models with project requirements, budgets, and logistics, traveling up to 15% as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of vertical construction concepts, methods and practices for estimating and preconstruction.
- Strong estimating methods, quantity takeoffs, labor/material analysis, and cost modeling.
- Experience with federal construction requirements and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and track potential bidding opportunities with BD and PM.
- Review and analyze RFP packages and client discussions for scope clarification.
- Prepare complete cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and logistics.
- Lead turnover meetings with PMs and assist in developing project budgets.
- Support pricing of change orders and additional work; review estimates for accuracy.
