Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory/medical technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Or completion of MLS coursework with internship and eligibility for BOC.
• Medical Technologist/MLS ASCP certification or equivalent and maintained.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, nights and on-call.
• Montana licensure or temporary licensure required for Montana applicants.
• Foreign transcripts must be evaluated for non-US coursework.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids.
• Analyze test results to provide accurate data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with proper calibration.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures for accuracy.
• Prepare and handle biological samples following proper protocols.
• Record and report test results in detailed healthcare reports.
• Maintain a safe, sterile laboratory environment and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
