Job summary

North Suburban Medical Center in Colorado seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a PRN role. You will perform technical procedures, collect and process specimens, and maintain accuracy across age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.

You will work with hematology, chemistry, or blood bank testing, communicate with clinicians, and ensure proper instrument verification and safety. MT (ASCP) or eligibility is preferred; associates or higher education with related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary puncture across age groups.
• MT (ASCP), MLT, or equivalent preferred or eligible for registry.
• Experience with clinical laboratory testing and instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures and maintains department protocols.
• Collects, processes and tests specimens across age ranges.
• Interacts with clinicians and patients to communicate results.
• Verifies equipment performance and adheres to quality controls.
