Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited MLS or MLT Program.
• Current registration with certifying board registration or equivalent.
• Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Has the ability to teach, train, and coach.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates laboratory equipment to required quality standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintains Laboratory Information System, ensures data accuracy and security.
• Covers various shifts as required by Laboratory Manager.
• Assists with analysis and trending of occupational exposure incidents and information exchange.
• Attends staff meetings and complies with accreditation and compliance guidelines.
• Completes required reports and program reviews, ensuring timely submissions.
• Communicates effectively with clients, providers, and other departments to maintain positive relationships.
• Replenishes supplies and adheres to infection control practices.
