Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited MLS or MLT Program.
Current registration with certifying board registration or equivalent.
Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Has the ability to teach, train, and coach.

Responsibilities

Maintains and operates laboratory equipment to required quality standards, troubleshooting as needed.
Maintains Laboratory Information System, ensures data accuracy and security.
Covers various shifts as required by Laboratory Manager.
Assists with analysis and trending of occupational exposure incidents and information exchange.
Attends staff meetings and complies with accreditation and compliance guidelines.
Completes required reports and program reviews, ensuring timely submissions.
Communicates effectively with clients, providers, and other departments to maintain positive relationships.
Replenishes supplies and adheres to infection control practices.
