Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our StoryPoint Grove City community. This full-time role runs 8am-4:30pm and may include weekends, holidays, and extended outdoor hours in varying weather.

You will perform general maintenance and repairs to keep properties safe and inviting. Responsibilities include operating tools safely, coordinating with teams, reporting issues, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and comply with safety regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
