Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Float Registered Nurse to join our rural hospital. You will work nights (7p–7a) with rotating weekends, gaining broad experience across units while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.

We value flexibility, teamwork, and professional development. A VA license and BLS/PALS/ACLS are key; two years in critical care or ED strongly preferred. On-call responsiveness is required.

Qualifications

• Current VA or compact RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS and Advanced Stroke course within 6 months of hire.
• At least two years of clinical experience in Critical Care, ED, PACU or similar.
• Must respond within 60 minutes if placed on call.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate care to meet patient needs per hospital policies and procedures.
• Apply Nursing Process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
• Care for patients across all ages (infants to elderly).
• Work with Paragon EMR and other patient care computer systems.
