Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare is seeking a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pool and provide care across multiple units. This role supports flexible staffing in a rural hospital setting, emphasizing compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Applicants must hold a VA or compact RN license, with BLS due within 30 days and ACLS/PALS/Stroke training within 6 months. Two years of critical care/ED/PACU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current VA or compact RN license.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS, PALS & Advanced Stroke course required within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC preferred.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care, ED, PACU or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Apply Nursing Process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
  • Care for patients across all age groups (infants to geriatrics).
  • Work with Paragon EMR and other patient-care systems.

How You\'ll ContributeA Float Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Supervise and coordinate care in a manner to ensure that patient needs are provided in an efficient manner and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Possess the knowledge to safely apply theory and practice using the Nursing Process of Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Ability to work with all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Ability to work with Paragon applications (Electronic Medical Record), as well as other computer systems for patient care.

What We\'re Looking ForApplicants should have a current VA or compact RN license.

Additional Requirements IncludeBasic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

ACLS, PALS & Advanced Stroke course are required within 6 months of hire.

Trauma Nurse Core course (TNCC) preferred.

At least two (2) years of clinical experience is required in Critical Care, ED, PACU or similar.

Must respond within 60 minutes if placed on call.

TCRH is a 141-bed facility that includes acute care, ambulatory care and emergency services. TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000.

Hourly Range: $38.30 - $49.11
