Job summary

The Float RN conducts assessments, plans and implements care, administers medications, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in NH or a compact state.
• Active BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess in-patients and gather bio-psycho-social histories.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge needs.
• Administer medications and monitor responses/effects.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Support the charge nurse role when assigned.
• Communicate patient needs to physicians and care teams.
