Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH seeks a Registered Nurse for its Float Pool to deliver patient-centered care across Med/Surg, ICU, ED, Rehab and Senior Mental Health units. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and supervise support staff while adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in New Hampshire or compact state.
• Active BCLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess in-patients and obtain a bio-psycho-social history.
• Develop and update the written nursing care plan with patient and family input.
• Administer medications and monitor for intended and adverse effects.
• Directly supervise LPNs, CNAs, and unit coordinators.
• Communicate needs and plans with physicians and care teams.
• Ensure accurate charting and documentation of patient data.
• Participate in department meetings and Performance Improvement activities.
