Job summary

Ambarella is seeking a talented Verification Engineer to join our cutting-edge semiconductor team. You will verify complex digital logic designs, develop testbenches using UVM, SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, and scripting languages, and contribute to validation of next-generation video and image processing solutions.

You will collaborate with RTL, architecture, and software teams, perform functional coverage analysis, and drive system-level verification of Ambarella’s image processing pipeline

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python, and debugging/simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced testbenches using UVM, SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, and scripting languages.
• Create and execute test plans for DSP blocks, control logic modules and CPU cores.
• Debug and validate a media processor platform using UVM, Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python, and Perl.
• Perform functional coverage analysis using CAD tools.
• Drive system-level verification of Ambarella’s image processing pipeline and video engine.
• Develop custom verification tools and scripts to streamline verification flows.
• Collaborate with RTL design, architecture, and software teams to ensure coverage.
