You will interview, hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff; resolve guest issues; communicate with teams; monitor performance; and contribute to budget planning and sustainability initiatives while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strategic thinking and creative problem solving.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to execute programs.
• Physical capability to walk, climb stairs, lift and carry 50lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline usher staff to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Organize and conduct staff meetings and communicate important information.
• Schedule and direct staff work assignments.
• Review and evaluate department performance, and implement policies and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints; interact positively with guests to maintain loyalty.
• Move throughout the venue to provide information, respond to inquiries, take orders, cancel accounts, or obtain complaint details.
• Ensure complete guest satisfaction by verifying corrective actions.
• Participate in venue sustainability initiatives, such as waste sorting and recycling.
• Assist in closing the venue after shows, collecting recyclables and storing event equipment.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with scheduling payroll administrator to meet staffing needs.
• Budget for each show’s needs while achieving operating per-head goal.
• Manage all operational processes within the annual facility budget with Operations Manager.
