Job summary

Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham, AL seeks a Business Systems Analyst to maintain and optimize Momentus Enterprise Venue Management System. You will lead configuration, training, and documentation to support event operations.

The role requires ERP administration experience, a bachelor’s degree in CIS or related field, and strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years ERP business system administration experience (Momentus preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Verifiable Experience as IT Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an end user training role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business/technology administrator for Momentus Enterprise.
• Oversee configuration, monitoring, and daily maintenance of Momentus Enterprise.
• Create training materials, user guides, training presentations, system SOPs, and deliver ongoing user training for the business system.
• Assist with creating and reinforcing system standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Respond to user support requests; troubleshoot issues; document resolution steps in IT knowledgebase; and communicate resolutions to users and other stakeholders.
• Stay current on IT trends, training, including Momentus Enterprise features and upgrades; document use cases and coordinate deployments.
• Identify opportunities to improve business system utilization and enhance reporting, dashboards, analytics, data integration, and automation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for Momentus Enterprise questions and issues with internal teams and the vendor.
• Maintain system compliance, data security, and privacy requirements; coordinate changes with departments and vendors.
• Assist with other IT department workflows, including event technology activation and Exhibitor services Center management.
