Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Reliant Park operations team in Houston, Texas. The role involves coordinating events, supervising staff, training, safety compliance, and liaising with clients to ensure all requirements are met.

The candidate will manage scheduling, vendor coordination, and daily facility operations, including equipment maintenance and life-safety responsibilities, with occasional outdoor work as dictated by events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years related supervisory/management experience in public assembly facility industry preferred.
• Experience supervising staff, coordinating events, and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of operations including supervision, event coordination, equipment maintenance, event staffing, setups and changeovers, event services, fire and life safety and customer service.
• Train staff in applicable laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety, rules and emergency procedures.
• Prepare work schedules, assign staffing responsibilities, and review quality of work performed.
• Schedule employees and subcontracted service providers according to event demands.
• Investigate and resolve operational problems and safety concerns; liaise with tenants and clients as needed.
