Job summary

Oak View Group in University Park, Texas, is seeking a Premium Supervisor to oversee dining and catering service in our venue. The role requires a personable, fast-moving approach and the ability to support Food and Beverage Managers with training, inventory, and special events while maintaining excellent attendance.

This part-time position pays $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and employer matching. Open until December 25, 2026.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
• Ability to supervise the work of others.
• Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the buffet meal service and beverage service to guests, including alcoholic beverages.
• Check the guest's ID to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Assist in recording a guest’s order and relaying the order to the kitchen via the P.O.S. system.
• Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
• Compute the cost of the meal and present the guest with the check.
• Accept payments and provide change as necessary.
• Ensure tableware and linens are replaced as necessary.
• Recommend certain dishes and identify ingredients or explain how various items on the menu are prepared.
• Supervise the setup of banquet functions, including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Ensure that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
• Recognize guests that are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
• Enforce all OVG policies and procedures.
• Assists the management team with projects including training, inventory, and special events.
• All other duties as assigned by the managers.
