Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, serving seven world-class venues and a diverse client roster. The Concessions Supervisor will oversee food & beverage service across arena concession stands, bars, and portable locations, training staff, managing inventory, and supporting events.

This fast-paced, customer-focused role requires strong leadership and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

2-3 years’ experience supervising staff in a food & beverage setting.
Ability to communicate clearly with employees, coworkers, volunteers, management, and guests.
Must be able to supervise, train, and mentor staff and volunteers.
Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit as required by state/federal regulations.
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for POS transactions.

Responsibilities

Set up concession locations prior to doors, verify inventory, assign duties, ensure sanitation, ensure location is fully operational.
Provide oversight for smooth, profitable event execution.
Train new and current staff on procedures and best practices.
Cover open positions to keep operations running and meet service standards.
Ensure safety, prevent harassment, address hazards, and report issues to management.
Maintain knowledge of all concession locations, equipment, and evacuation procedures.
Supervise beverage service, including checking IDs for alcohol.
