Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks an Event Sales Manager for the onsite Texas State Aquarium venue. You will drive sales of the venue, catering, and add-on experiences, building strong client relationships and guiding events from inquiry to execution.

You will manage proposals, contracts, BEOs, vendor coordination, and cross-department collaboration to ensure flawless events. Strong negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sell venue and catering services to new and returning clients.
• Conduct site tours and menu tastings to showcase capabilities.
• Negotiate and secure signed events through defined process.
• Plan upsell functions, spaces, times, equipment, menus and decor.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout sales and planning.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance.
• Create detailed event plans with timelines and floorplans.
• Coordinate with Catering Operations and Culinary teams to ensure flawless events.
• Manage contracts, BEOs, diagrams, and necessary documents.
• Ensure compliance with laws and maintain safe work environment.
