The University of Iowa Accounts Payable Department seeks a Vendor Authentication Administrator to support onboarding, authentication, and fraud prevention. You will review new vendor requests, verify legitimacy, and manage ACH changes, admin eSupplier access, mergers, and bankruptcy processes with strong judgment and attention to detail.

This role supports 1099 processes, payment verifications, and vendor file maintenance to improve data accuracy and reduce duplicates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent
• 6 months of accounting/vendor management/fraud analysis experience
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines and multitask
• Strong project management abilities

Responsabilidades

• Review new vendor requests and verify legitimacy
• Manage vendor records during mergers and acquisitions
• Support 1099 processes, payment verifications and vendor file maintenance
• Process daily purchasing and payment transactions for new vendors
• Maintain reports to assess vendor legitimacy and reduce duplicates
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and support vendor teams
