Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking an experienced Vendor Master & Onboarding Specialist in Charlotte, NC. The role covers end-to-end supplier onboarding, data validation, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

You will perform vendor master audits, manage tax documentation (W-9/W-8), review banking details, and support accounts payable activities. A foundation in ERP systems and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Vendor Master Management and Supplier Onboarding.
• Experience maintaining supplier master data within an ERP system.
• Working knowledge of W-9 and W-8 tax documentation.
• Experience supporting 1099 reporting processes.
• Knowledge of domestic and international banking requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding, including new setups, changes, and deactivations.
• Validate supplier information including tax IDs, banking details, and remit-to addresses.
• Ensure data completeness and compliance with policies and controls.
• Perform periodic vendor master audits to identify duplicates, inactive, or inaccurate supplier records.
• Maintain supporting documentation and approval records per audit retention requirements.
• Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, and process transformation initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional Accounts Payable support as needed.
