Job summary

ABB Inc. in the United States seeks a Vendor Enablement Specialist to coordinate onboarding, portal registrations, and supplier data across client platforms.

You will drive end-to-end case management, manage registrations, and ensure accurate, compliant supplier representations while collaborating with Sales, Accounting, Compliance, and Risk teams. Experience with Salesforce, strong communication, and a focus on timely issue resolution will support revenue continuity and adherence to ABB's Code

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar sales role.
• Good understanding of sales operations in electrification services.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Case Management & Workflow Ownership: Owns end-to-end case management, coordinating and actioning requests initiated by Front End Sales, Portal Administration, and other internal departments through Salesforce and shared inbox channels.
• Vendor Onboarding & Portal Registration: Manages supplier onboarding requests by completing vendor registration forms, complex client surveys, and portal setup across client platforms.
• Corporate Structure & Information Governance: Distinguishes ABB Inc./ABB Ltd. relationships and ensures compliant client communications.
• Inbox & Communication Management: Monitors multiple inboxes, portal notifications, PO routing, and case management.
• ELSE-Advisory Operator: Handles client inquiries through ELSE-Advisory Support Line.
• Supplier Profile Accuracy & Compliance: Maintains active, compliant supplier presence across systems in line with ABB Code of Conduct.
• Access & User Management: Manages user access across platforms and preserves access during org changes.
• Issue Identification & Resolution: Resolves access errors, registration conflicts, and routing issues; collaborates with Accounting.
• Client Survey & Questionnaire Coordination: Coordinates complex client questionnaires with SMEs for sign-off.
• Insurance Certificate & Compliance Documentation: Coordinates with Risk Management for required documents.
• Cross-Divisional Collaboration & Escalation: Partners with other ABB divisions to address conflicts and improve processes.
• Policy & Acknowledgement Authorization: Executes client policy acknowledgments and routes for legal review when needed.
• Client-Facing Communication & Sales Support: Provides professional updates and supports client calls on onboarding topics.
• Documentation, Audit Readiness & Process Standardization: Records vendor docs and supports ISO-aligned processes.
• ViewPoint Access Support: Assists in user access and region creation.
• Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Tracks metrics and advocates for Vendor Enablement expansion.
