Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks an experienced Vendor Oversight Specialist to manage a network of third-party providers and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes reviewing vendor documentation, conducting due diligence, and maintaining systems for ongoing oversight and annual contract obligations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in financial services: mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent document interpretation and comprehension skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review large volumes of documentation for annual vendor reviews.
• Monitor and review vendor compliance documents throughout oversight lifecycle.
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership in a timely manner.
• Maintain vendor management system data and timely notifications.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and ensure accurate records.
• Respond to site audits and remediation plans.
• Provide status updates to vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Onboard potential new service providers per policy.
