Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Oversight Specialist to manage an existing network of third-party service providers and monitor their compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will escalate issues to leadership and ensure timely, accurate vendor communications and documentation.

The role requires one or more years in financial services, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Visio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in financial services, mortgage servicing, auditing, compliance or vendor management.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess vendor documentation for annual reviews in compliance with policy.
• Monitor and review vendor compliance documents across oversight lifecycle; track milestones and termination docs.
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership when needed.
• Maintain vendor management inbox and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
• Manage ongoing vendor reviews and contract obligations in the vendor system.
• Coordinate due diligence for new third-party vendors and obtain approvals.
• Communicate status to vendors and stakeholders through reports and updates.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documentation for compliance and update approvals.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure records are current in the system.
• Respond to site audit exceptions and coordinate remediation actions.
