Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Title Specialist I to accurately process vehicle titles, verify information, and resolve issues with clients and regulatory agencies. This role includes training and mentoring to grow knowledge of US title regulations and Cox policies.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and applicants must reside in one of the listed states (CA, WA, FL, GA, TX, OH, or AZ).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have good organizational and time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow procedures precisely.
• Must display effective communication skills and a customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review titles for negotiability, sign and reassign titles on behalf of clients.
• Complete application for new title on behalf of clients as needed.
• Facilitate lien perfection on NextGear Capital financed collateral when required.
• Release NextGear Capital lien on collateral that has been paid in full according to policy & procedure.
• Communicate with internal and external clients to resolve title questions or requests via email, ServiceNOW ticket, and phone call.
• Answer routine questions, follow guidelines, and use judgment based on experience.
• Partner with more senior Title Specialists and Titles & Records leadership on complex title issues.
• Follow instructions and maintain workflow standards with integrity.
• Attain production, quality goals, and metric standards in accordance with Titles & Records department guidelines.
• Adhere to all NextGear Capital & Cox Automotive company policies and procedures regarding attendance and conduct.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional assigned tasks as directed by Titles & Records leadership.
