Job summary

Cox Automotive in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Title Specialist I to accurately process vehicle titles by verifying title information and resolving issues with clients and regulatory agencies. Through on‑the‑job training and mentoring, this role develops expertise in US Federal, state, and territorial title rules, internal policies, and Cox’s NextGear customer service standards.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of experience typically expected.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Clear communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Review titles for negotiability and reassign titles as needed.
• Complete new title applications for clients as required.
• Facilitate lien perfection on NextGear Capital financed collateral.
• Release lien on collateral paid in full per policy.
• Communicate with clients and agencies to resolve title questions via email, ticketing system, and phone.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on complex title issues.
