Job summary

Dealers Auto Auction of Memphis LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Title Processor. The role focuses on accurate processing and reassignment of vehicle titles, verifying title information against state requirements, and maintaining knowledge of current DMV titling laws as they apply to processed vehicles.

You will interact with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues, report discrepancies, and support negotiations for title-related pricing adjustments when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous title experience in dealership environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and re-assign titles for vehicles.
• Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to requirements.
• Verify acceptance of the title in the filing state.
• Confirm accurate title VIN, odometer reading, lien releases, and that titles have no alterations.
• Determine negotiability of title document and assess for potential fraud.
• Report title discrepancies and resolve issues with customers, dealers and regulators.
• Assist manager to negotiate price adjustments for title problems when needed.
• Stay updated on DMV laws and titling regulations for processing states.
• Handle inbound calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Run outstanding title reports and contact sellers regarding titles.
