Bergey’s Chevrolet in Colmar, PA is hiring for a Full-Time vehicle sales role. You will sell and lease new and used vehicles, write sales orders, and participate in training to stay current with products and services. The position emphasizes customer satisfaction, ethical conduct, and active prospect follow-up to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Sells/leases new and used vehicles to meet dealership targets and customer satisfaction.
• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork per dealership policy.
• Attends product and sales training as requested by the sales manager.
• Keeps up-to-date on products and services in the industry.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat/referral business.
• Maintains a prospect development system and follows up with potential buyers.
• Conducts business ethically and professionally.
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to needs.
• Explains vehicle performance, options, and benefits to customers.
• Offers test drives and confirms proper identification per dealership procedures.

Summary

Sells/leases new- and used-vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
• Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
• Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
• Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a prospect development system.
• Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
• Approaches, greets, and offers assistance/direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom/sales lot.
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explains fully product performance, application and benefits to prospects.
• Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
• Other tasks as assigned.
