Job summary

Bergey’s Inc. is a family-owned dealership seeking a full-time Sales Associate in Lansdale. You will sell and lease new and used vehicles, drive customer satisfaction, and process paperwork according to dealership policy.

You will respond to customer needs, present vehicle options, and build lasting relationships while delivering an excellent buying experience. The role requires proactive follow-up with customers, participation in training sessions, and adherence to ethical and professional

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write complete sales orders and handle paperwork.
• Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.

Responsibilities

• Sell/lease new and used vehicles at dealership standards for profit, volume and customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers, determine needs, and demonstrate vehicle benefits and features.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle and coordinate test drives and identification documentation.

Summary :

Sells/leases new- and used-vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
• Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
• Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
• Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a prospect development system.
• Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
• Approaches, greets, and offers assistance/direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom/sales lot.
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explains fully product performance, application and benefits to prospects.
• Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
