Job summary

Carvana seeks a Reconditioning Manager to oversee the Inspection Center, directing five leads and up to seventy associates in a lean environment. You will ensure quality, production and cost objectives while fostering continuous improvement and a positive team culture.

You will mentor staff, align plans with company goals, and maintain standards through training, performance management, and effective use of resources.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Ability to meet project deliverables and metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and succession planning.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the company.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.
• Train leads and associates with competency-based feedback.
• Maintain production capacity and support planning.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
