Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented vehicle data entry associate in Riverside, CA.

You will input vehicle information into the AS400 system using handheld devices for each vehicle received, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, and vehicle specifications. Responsibilities include affixing stock stickers, configuring Tracker devices, labeling work orders, directing transporters, and capturing vehicle photos.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of auction/vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into AS400 using handheld device for each vehicle received at the Auction (VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options).
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Associate Tracker device to WO# and install on OBD port or strap on steering wheel.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles; flag “no key” cars.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zones; report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
• Provide correct windshield code to the driver at registration/check-in.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with safety leadership on Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor (e.g., assist on sale days).

USD 18.17 - 27.21 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.21/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

• Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.


• Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
