Cox Automotive in Bordentown, NJ is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to enter vehicle data into the SECURE system, install GPS trackers, and label vehicles for auction processing. You will coordinate with transporters, handle check‑in tasks, and assist during sale days as needed.

The role requires safety awareness, the ability to stand and walk for long periods, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Tue–Fri 8:30am–5pm and Sat 7am–3:30pm, with potential overtime.

Competenze

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED preferred, or less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.

• Install GPS trackers in OBII Port or with metal security cable.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker and place routing labels on vehicles.

• Cross-train for check-in and assist on sale days as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Overtime may be required ( >40 hours/week ) as business needs dictate.

Work Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday (8:30am-5pm), Saturday (7am-3:30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer (Zebra TC75x) for each vehicle received at the Auction:
  • Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
  • Stock number
  • Dealer identification number
  • Make, model, year, mileage, color, etc.
  • Install GPS trackers in OBII Port or with Metal security cable.
  • Remove license plates and document them.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag "no key" cars.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• In the event that extra help is needed by our EPII team we will require this role to cross train for check-in and provide assistance when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, etc.
• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Preferred:

• 1 - 3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Moderate noise level.

USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
