Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Utility Technician in Bronx, NY. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to use Penske tools and basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA and Penske safety policies.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and outdoors.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs (tires, lubrication, electrical, cooling).
• Learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching.
• Assist supervisor and work on other projects as needed.
