Penske is seeking a Utility Technician at our Bronx location to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll help keep vehicles safe for customers and learn Penske’s maintenance processes and certification programs.

Starting pay is competitive at $27.73/hr with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus strong benefits and opportunities for growth through Penske’s technician training. The role requires a valid license and DOT safety compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors
• Must understand and follow Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA rules

Responsabilidades

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work
• Partner with manager to learn skills through Penske training and coaching
• Handle other tasks as assigned by supervisor
