Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring in Ocala, FL to support lot operations, inventory accuracy, and vehicle readiness. You will drive service trucks, operate forklifts and tow trucks, and help prepare vehicles for sale across multiple auction days.

The role requires teamwork, strong customer focus, detail orientation, and effective communication to ensure a smooth sale day and accurate inventory records. OT may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes and sizes, including tow trucks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage vehicles for sale, including sticker work and on-the-spot markings.
• Move vehicles using a lot tow truck or forklift; operate the service truck.
• Scan and log vehicle movements to ensure accurate inventory.
• Assist with vehicle readiness tasks and basic maintenance like fluids and tires.
• Support with inventory flow from check-in to auction sale line and communicate with shop teams.
• Provide customer and administrative support to ensure smooth sale day execution.
• Verify vehicle mileage, make, year and VIN to ensure records are accurate.
