Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a driven Lot Operations assistant to support daily sale-day activities at our Utah site. You will help drive vehicle readiness, inventory accuracy, and on-site operations to ensure a smooth process from check-in to auction line.

Reporting to the Lead Lot Operations, you will operate the service truck, lot tow truck, and forklift, while collaborating with multiple teams to meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes and sizes, including tow trucks and forklifts.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications; forklift certification obtained/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lot operations by preparing and staging vehicles for sale, including stickers and vehicle marking.
• Move vehicles using lot tow truck or forklift and operate the service truck to support the driver team.
• Record vehicle movements using electronic devices to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Help with vehicle readiness tasks such as jumping vehicles and adding fluids.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards to supervision.
• Coordinate with shop and operations teams to ensure efficient sale-day flow.
• Provide customer service support and assist administrative staff as needed.
• Verify vehicle mileage, make, year, and VIN for accurate records.
