Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a dependable Vehicle Transporter to move and stage vehicles on the lot during auctions. You will operate on-site under the direction of the Operations Manager, ensuring accurate placement and safe handling of a variety of makes and models.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and efficient lot flow, with starting pay of $15 per hour and a schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
• Vehicle Staging: Support efficient lot flow and ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
• Operational Support: Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
• Efficiency: Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
• Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed.
• Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
