ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a vehicle inspector to assess condition, wear, damage, and prior repairs. You will capture data on a mobile device and present findings to dealers and consumers as the face of ADESA.

Responsibilities include professional communications, timely inspections, and collaboration with management and sales to improve services. The role requires 18+, valid license, English proficiency, and basic mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year Automotive experience: Repair Shop, Educational, Hobby.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to enter data on a handheld device.
• Ability to identify previous repair after training.
• Ability to identify basic mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers (dealer or consumer).
• Resolve inquiries in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner; inform management of complaints.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient attention.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, or previous repairs.
• Complete inspections and adhere to customer-defined program.
• Capture data accurately on a mobile device.
• Deliver results in a timely manner.
• Maintain productivity levels as directed by management.
• Collaborate with management and sales on customer needs.
• Maintain equipment and tools and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and properly arranged on arrival.
• Submit completed condition reports via available technology.
• Complete road tests if required.
• Stay updated on technology and product changes.
• Understand use of tools like paint meters, OBD scanners.
• Develop knowledge of competitor products.
