Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, seeks a detail shop inspector to ensure First Time Right quality in our reconditioning team. You will monitor detail staff performance, communicate goals, and be the first contact for quality issues.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, assigning tasks by strengths, training on SOPs, and maintaining a safe, clean shop. Must be 18+ with valid license; detailing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to use cleaning tools such as vacuums, pressure washer, drill, cleaning chemicals and jump boxes.
• 1 - 2 years of auto detailing experience preferred.
• Auction knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Well-organized with multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work done by each team member and ensure standards.
• Identify strengths of detailers and assign tasks accordingly.
• Train on standard operating procedures for vehicle detail.
• Assist on the detail line and perform final detail tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional shop environment and log vehicle data.
• Photograph and stage vehicles to meet detail standards.
• Return customer vehicles in clean condition and run inventory reports.
