Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring a Vehicle Inspector to assess vehicle condition, wear, and damage, including imaging and uploading results. The role interacts with dealers and consumers, ensuring professional service and accurate inspections.

You will capture inspection data on a handheld device, communicate clearly with customers, and collaborate with the team to meet quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year automotive experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers (dealer or consumer) professionally.
• Resolve inquiries with courtesy; inform management of all incidents.
• Ensure prompt, efficient attention for internal and external customers.
• Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, damage, or previous repairs.
• Complete vehicle inspections and adhere to defined customer programs.
• Capture data on a mobile device; use software and technology.
• Deliver results in a timely manner and maintain productivity.
• Maintain high accuracy with inspections; low error rates.
• Collaborate with the manager and sales team to meet customer needs.
• Maintain equipment and advise on maintenance needs.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and correctly configured upon arrival.
• Submit completed condition reports via the provided technology.
