Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector to verify and document vehicle conditions upon receipt. You will inspect interior/exterior areas, odometer readings, and engine compartments, then record findings and complete required paperwork.

The role includes day-end setup, ongoing system use, safety adherence, and potential overtime based on business needs. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license required for vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information by inspecting customer vehicles at receipt time (interior, exterior, odometer, trunk, engine compartment).
• Identify damage or needed repairs and document findings.
• Prepare documentation and write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Perform day-end procedures and maintain system knowledge for policies and tools.
• Conduct OVE courtesy walks and stay updated on system capabilities and software.
