Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to verify vehicle information against work orders by inspecting interiors, exteriors, odometer readings, and components. The role includes documenting findings and performing end-of-day procedures.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, with under 2 years’ related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information based on work orders by inspecting all customer vehicles received.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up day-end system and perform day-end procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures and safety practices.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Conduct OVE courtesy walks during inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and relevant software.
• Support safety initiatives and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• May be required to work overtime as needed.
