manpowe seeks a Vehicle Project Manager in Foster City, CA to drive hardware projects from concept through end of life. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to deliver on aggressive timelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in automotive hardware project management, with strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of project or program management experience in automotive hardware or hardware systems.
• Experience managing products through the hardware lifecycle and applying change management processes.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack; PLM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle hardware projects and deliverables from concept to end of life.
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules, track milestones, dependencies and risks; implement mitigations.
• Lead change management activities for hardware systems through approval and implementation processes.
• Facilitate program meetings, milestone reviews, and readiness assessments with clear decision-making.
• Act as a central communication hub between engineering, operations, and stakeholders, surfacing escalations.
