Goken seeks a Technical Project Manager for Body Closures in Foster City, CA. Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of engineering and technical program management experience.
• 5+ years in automotive closures, latches, or kinematic mechanisms.
• Knowledge of electrical latch systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience reviewing electrical logs and CANalyzer data.
• Proven success managing complex cross-functional technical programs.
• Strong ability to align diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for mechanisms, sealing, and structural integration.
• Triage manufacturing and field issues and drive root cause investigations to closure.
• Act as programmatic interface with external suppliers; track hardware build plans and coordinate part deliveries.
• Maintain bug/issue trackers (e.g., Jira), follow up on RCA progress, and facilitate meetings to drive hardware issues for Closures.
• Facilitate communication between ME, supply chain, manufacturing, and validation teams; track BOM maturity.
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities and transition programs into stable production.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct packaging investigations or manage clash analysis utilizing CATIA.
• Ensure all impacted teams understand their requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectations at all times.
• Proficiency in managing the release of technical datasets and manufacturing drawings through formal PLM workflows.
