Job summary

Goken America is seeking a Technical Program Manager in California to lead cross‑functional hardware, software, vehicle systems, and product programs, translating program strategy into actionable roadmaps with defined milestones, risks, and deliverables.

You will collaborate with engineering leaders to build schedules, coordinate part deliveries, manage external suppliers, support NPI, and ensure smooth PLM workflow with detailed datasets and drawings.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management
• 5+ years of experience with automotive closures, latches, or kinematic mechanisms.
• Knowledge of electrical latch systems and electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience reviewing electrical logs and diagnostic data in CANalyzer.
• Proven success managing complex, cross‑functional technical programs.
• Strong ability to communicate with senior leaders and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for mechanisms, sealing, and structural integration.
• Triage manufacturing and field issues and drive root cause investigations to closure.
• Act as programmatic interface with external suppliers; track hardware build plans and coordinate part deliveries.
• Maintain bug/issue trackers (e.g., Jira), follow up on RCA progress, and facilitate meetings to drive hardware issues for Closures.
• Facilitate communication between ME, supply chain, manufacturing, and validation teams; track BOM maturity.
• Support NPI activities and transition programs into stable production.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct packaging investigations or manage clash analysis utilizing CATIA.
