Job summary

EDAG-Mexico seeks a Program Manager to lead complex hardware product development for automotive programs in a fast-paced environment. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate supplier timelines, and safeguard on-time delivery from design freeze to vehicle MRDs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of program management experience in automotive or related fields, with strong PLM/BOM and spend-tracking skills. This is an 8-month contract based in Novi, MI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of program/project management experience in automotive or complex hardware development.
Experience managing supplier timelines, tooling lead times, and part procurement for prototype/low-volume builds.
Strong proficiency with PLM/BOM systems and PO/spend tracking.
Excellent stakeholder communication, including executive-level status reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed timelines driving on-time part delivery across COB, HIL, and vehicle builds.
Coordinate internal and supplier stakeholders to align on program timing from design freeze to MRDs.
Map end-to-end supplier lead times including quoting, tooling, manufacturing, and first article review.
Initiate and track POs for tooling and parts, and monitor program spend across tooling, materials, and NRE.
