Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a Manufacturing Operations - Project Manager in Foster City, CA to drive hardware projects from concept through validation and production ramp. You will own schedules, milestones, risks, and cross-functional coordination between engineering, operations, and program stakeholders on site.

You will lead change management (ECR/ECO), manage program meetings and readiness, and provide clear status via reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years PM experience in automotive hardware or hardware systems development.
• Experience managing products through hardware life cycle and applying structured change management (ECR/ECO).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack; PLM/change management system experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with vehicle development milestones and HW/SW integration.

Job Description

Manage vehicle hardware projects and deliverables through the full product life cycle, from concept and development through validation, production ramp, and end of life. Own project planning and execution: build and maintain schedules, track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks, and drive mitigation plans to closure. Lead change management activities for hardware systems: assess impact, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and drive engineering changes (ECR/ECO) through approval and implementation. Plan and facilitate program meetings, milestone checkpoints, and readiness assessments;drive decisions, capture action items, and follow through to closure. Serve as a central point of contact between engineering, operations, and program stakeholders, streamlining communication, surfacing escalations, and creating visibility across programs. Maintain program and change data integrity across Jira, Confluence, and PLM/change management tools, ensuring content meets expectations ahead of reviews and milestones. Provide leadership with clear program status through reports, metrics, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related engineering discipline) or equivalent engineering formation and background.
• 3+ years of project or program management experience with direct, hands-on experience in automotive hardware or hardware systems development.
• Demonstrated experience managing products through the hardware life cycle (concept, design, validation, production, end of life) and applying structured change management (ECR/ECO processes, PLM systems).
• Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack;experience with PLM/change management systems is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with vehicle development milestones (prototype builds, DV/PV, SOP), hardware/software integration, and issue resolution is a strong plus.
