Job summary

Nexio Power Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Electrical Architecture Engineer to own the design, integration, validation, and production release of Nexio's vehicle electrical architecture.

This role translates vehicle and powertrain requirements into robust electrical systems, collaborating across mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and supplier teams to deploy scalable harnesses and interfaces. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing automotive or commercial vehicle electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical system standards and harnesses.
• Experience with wire harness design and interconnections.
• Schematic creation using EE tools (VeSys/Capital, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vehicle-level electrical architecture for Nexio vehicles.
• Define electrical requirements for voltage, current, protection, grounding, and network connectivity.
• Create harness schematics, wire lists, connectors, and BOMs.
• Support prototype builds, validation, and production release.
• Lead root-cause analysis for development, production, and field issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on assembly processes and testing.
• Review supplier drawings and address ECN/CHG requests.
• Ensure documentation reflects production vehicle configurations.
