Job summary

BraunAbility is leading innovation in mobility solutions, seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to own vehicle-level electrical architecture and integration. This role requires hands-on hardware design, embedded software collaboration, and robust vehicle networking across CAN/LIN to support next-generation mobility platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• 5+ years in automotive or related industries.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware systems.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I2C communications.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level electrical system functionality and integration. Define electrical architecture, interfaces, signal definitions, and system behavior.
• Design, review, and troubleshoot electronic control modules and associated circuitry. Support schematic development, PCB design reviews, component selection, and prototype validation.
• Develop, modify, and validate embedded software for vehicle control systems. Support implementation of control logic, state machines, diagnostics, and communication protocols.
• Develop integration, validation, and diagnostic test plans. Support bench, prototype, DV, PV, and production validation testing.
• Develop engineering documentation including System architecture diagrams, Interface control documents, Validation plans, Technical specifications, Test reports.
