Job summary

AeroVect in Virginia is seeking a Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture and vehicle integration for our autonomous tractor platform. You will design harnesses and power distribution, develop wiring diagrams, lead root-cause analysis, and drive design improvements across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hardware-centric electrical engineering (automotive, robotics, aerospace, or industrial equipment).
• Deep expertise in vehicle electrical systems: harness design, power distribution, CAN bus, grounding and EMC.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture end-to-end for autonomous tractor platform.
• Design, review and maintain wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Lead root cause analysis on electrical faults across the fleet.
• Define corrective actions and fleet retrofit plans with hardware team.
• Own electrical bring-up and validation for new platforms.
• Collaborate with software and autonomy teams for hardware bring-up.
