Job summary

Trader Interactive in Virginia Beach is seeking a Vehicle Data Specialist to join our data team. You will analyze HINs and VINs, classify records, and enter data with strong quality control, meeting monthly deadlines across Marine, Powersports, Trailer, Manufactured Housing, and RV industries.

This role requires independent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and collaboration with Product and Engineering to expand data attributes for customers. Hybrid schedule with in-office work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data research, data entry, or data-coding.
• Able to perform highly repetitive, high-volume work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality benchmarks.
• Sustained focus over long, methodical tasks with monthly deadlines.
• Good independent judgment for ambiguous records.
• Follow detailed procedures and know when to escalate.
• Some college or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, especially Excel & Outlook.
• Comfort with AI tools to support data work.
• Ability to work under production pressure and self-check.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HINs and VINs and code to models, types, propulsion and attributes.
• Classify dealerships by type and determine customer-facing presentation.
• Review data for completeness, accuracy, and policy adherence.
• Enter data quickly with high accuracy and correct source data.
• Troubleshoot data issues using web research and prior entries.
• Meet five monthly production deadlines across five industries.
• Collaborate with Product to expand data attributes delivered to customers.
