Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an associate for an outdoor vehicle-entry role. You will input detailed vehicle information using a handheld device, affix barcodes, and apply work orders and routing labels upon entry.

Responsibilities include installing an OBDII device, directing transporters, and upholding Safety Excellence. The position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting, with flexibility for sale-day assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or up to 2 years of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly stands, walks, reaches, talks and hears.
• Able to lift 1–15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information (VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options) into the system using handheld scanner.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each incoming vehicle.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles at entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Follow all safety procedures and support Safety Excellence.
• Assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction lanes as needed.
