Job summary

CarMax East Haven is seeking a Vehicle Condition Assessor to accurately document vehicle conditions for appraisals and support inventory management. You will collaborate with Buyers and Purchasing Managers, assist with lot merchandising, and help with wholesale auction operations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Valid driver’s license is required, and there are opportunities to contribute to a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate vehicle assessments documenting cosmetic and mechanical conditions.
• Document options and inventory updates for appraisals.
• Capture high-quality vehicle images for CarMax websites.
• Verify appraisal details and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory management and lot merchandising.
• Support onboarding of new associates and adhere to EH&S requirements.
